LCD means Liquid Crystal Display. You can see how others called it liquid crystal diode. That is not correct. A single word is the whole point wrong. It must be confused with LED, which was otherwise known as light emitting diode. This is the red light that we usually used in the clock radio. But today, LED lights have already made in many colors. What is a diode? It is an electronic valve, the flow going in another direction, that conflict be prevented with theOperation of the light projection of the TV.
There are three different types of LCD-TV:
1st Flat Panel LCD is the one that competes with plasma TVs. This is the thinnest television, and the other among the lightest.
2. Rear Projection LCD competes with digital light protection or DLP TV. This is a much thicker than one compared to the flat-panel LCDs. They compete with the DLP models. The rear-projection LCD series15 to 19 centimeters thick and weighs about 45 pounds.
3. Front Projection projects on the screen to a size so large as to reach 200 cm or 300 cm, if your room is big enough, too. This type of LCD TV is very portable. It is also easy. A particular model weighs just four pounds. But of course you must have a place where you project your image.
Toshiba manufactures all these types of LCD TV.
Among the conditions of liquid and crystal in LCD, they refer to bothto the media, where the current is applied. The crystals are intertwined, bending and twisting of which are loaded and sent across to the amount of electric current through them. Shape transformation allows light to pass through, which means that many different shades of each different color are allowed. A simple example of an LCD is the digital clock, coming in every day.
LCD, DLP, Liquid Crystal on Silicon or LCoS are gradually replacing the old TV. With this we are talking aboutof CRT monitors, which are outdated as time passes.
